Whitewater was fishing very well on our trip to the State Park. The water clarity was suprisingly good, and we actually caught more rainbows then browns. We started near Troutrun and worked our way down towards the parking lot. We caught a couple of browns in the 8-10 inch range until we came down past the lot, where we started hooking rainbows. They must have just stocked the river as all the fish were in the 10 inch range. We each landed 8-10 fish, pretty good for a couple of hours of fishing. We caught all of our fish on prince nymphs, pheasant tails, and lightning bugs.
