We stopped by the Lester after fishing the Sucker and spotted a couple of fish below the bridge. They were easily spooked and we didn't have any hook-ups. We returned the next morning and decided to check to see if any fish had moved in with the rain. We were pleasantly suprised, they were in thick! I counted over 30 from the bridge and it wasn't long before I hooked a nice hen looper frsh from the lake. I hooked 3 more males and lost 2 more. The fish would eagerly slam an egg sucking leech if you could get a good drift in front of them. Later in the morning the fishing pressure picked up and the fish got a little tougher to hook up with. We also met up with MP from Eastern WI and talked fishing with him and Brenan in the evening on the Sucker.
