We stopped at the Lester on the way back from the Sucker and spotted a couple of steelhead below the bridge. We got our our gear and got into position below the bridge. They spooked easily, but you could get a couple of drifts on the fish before they swam off under the bridge. I was unsuccessful with a couple of different egg patterns and wooly buggers, but Justin hooked up with a nice female on an egg-sucking leech. It was tought to get them in the late afternoon sun, but it was nice to find some fish in the Lester. The crowds were suprisingly low and the people that were fish weren't catching many. Most of the fish were moving up river and spooked easily.
