The "Kinni" is a class one trout stream,
stretching 20 miles above and below the city of River Falls in
Wisconsin. It's upper streches hold both wild brookies and browns,
which will eagerly take a dry fly. The lower section is known
for producing browns in the 10-12 inch range with some larger
fish in the 16-18 inch range. A true trophy fish on the river
would be anything over 18 inches. There are some nice brookies
on the upper river in the 12-14 inch range. |
